About the Speaker

Dena Wimette is the Head of Product Innovation for Ben & Jerry’s, a global ice cream brand well-known for its creative flavors and product quality. Dena has been with Ben & Jerry’s for over 14 years, having served in multiple brand, innovation, and communication roles. In 2019, she was asked to lead the company’s product innovation efforts. In her role, Dena applies an integrated approach to innovation weaving the Ben & Jerry’s progressive three-part mission (Human Rights & Dignity, Social & Economic Justice and Environmental Protection, Restoration and Regeneration) with its ingredients and flavors. Dena has a BA in Psychology from the University of Florida and an MBA from Northeastern University.
